Thinking of visiting the stunning Lake District?
The White Rose in Windermere, built in 1816 using the local Lakeland slate is the perfect base for visiting the area. The house has 5 very pretty en-suite bedrooms and we serve a really delicious breakfast to set you up for the day!

Start the day with a delicious English breakfast served in the sunny dining room- where you will also find an excellent selection of touring maps and a large amount of information on the many tourist attractions in the area.
Chilled fruit juice, an excellent choice of cereals including a luxury muesli, or a creamy fruit yoghurt, is followed by our delicious and substantial English breakfast, served with a selection of freshly toasted white and brown bread, a deliciously fruity jam and marmalade.
A choice of freshly ground coffee and a traditional English tea completes the breakfast choices.
